Local Business Feature: SAPSAN

During this time (and always!) it is so important to support the local business in our communities. Plus it’s great for the economy too! We are constantly inspired by the ambition and resilience of local business founders. We feel that the risks that they take lead to innovation and help in moving the world forward.

Inspired by these entrepreneurs and their stories, we recently chatted with Sahar Sultan – owner of SAPSAN Intelligence Development School, about being an entrepreneur, running a local business while also running a family, and any advice she has for other local businesses!

What is your business about and why did you start it?

An Intelligence Development school with emphasis to build cognitive skills and improve focus, perception, memory and logic skills of child. All exercises are designed to train the brain of the child with their natural limit, and the results are mind boggling.

This brain gym builds mental stamina of your children age 8-17.

What do you love about your business?

SAPSAN provides a non-conventional, futuristic approach of educating young children and teens. We surely will be dealing with more intelligent robots and automations around us in near future. So, let’s gear up with something more challenging than what we usually are teaching our kids in normal schools. It’s a kind of Brain gym, our brain is the key and it needs to be trained under time pressure and to build enough stamina to be analytically critical one.

How do you manage your time between running a business and a family?

It’s a simple strategy, when I am at home my performance for all duties is hundred percent. Likewise, when it’s time for work, I put all my focus and attention to it.

Key is to ensure your best performance, whatever role you are in. It takes time to train your brain to switch between multiple personalities mode, Once you master it, life is simple and glorious.

Any piece of advice to other small businesses owners or anyone wanting to start their own business?

One with passion to change the world or to keep their name after they leave this world, must pursue something of their own. It accelerate a thriving mind and gives you magical results. Why work for others when you can be your own boss and get the real benefit of your own skills.
